Description

The Continuing Competency Program (CCP) is a legislated requirement of all ASPB members. Through this presentation, members will learn more about the CCP requirements and how members can track all the steps they need to take each year to maintain professional development standards. Carol and Glenda will also discuss the CCP auditing process.

This talk is for non members who may be considering joining and members who would like clarification about the requirements of the CCP. The ASPB is committed to the promotion of excellence in the practice of biology. The CCP is one way that the ASPB ensures that all members maintain the standards of excellence that is expected of a professional biologist.

Background

Carol Engstrom is Past President of the ASPB and an Environmental Biologist with Husky Energy.

Glenda Fratton is Secretary of the ASPB and a Senior Environmental Planner with AECOM.
