Aquatic Scientist/Ecologist

Summit Environmental Consultants Inc. is recruiting for an Aquatic Scientist/Ecologist to play an active role in the growth of our operations in Alberta, Saskatchewan, and northern Canada. Candidates should have a degree in an appropriate discipline (e.g. fisheries biology, aquatic toxicology, or environmental science; a graduate degree is preferred) and at least four years experience in a consulting environment. Experience in business development is required, including preparation of proposals and work plans, budget development, and building client relationships. The ideal candidate will hold a professional designation (e.g. P.Biol.); have experience in the transportation, infrastructure, oil and gas, hydro-power, and wastewater sectors; and be an excellent writer. Experience in the Yukon and Northwest Territories is an asset.
