Soil Scientists â?? Full-Time and Contract (Summer)

Ghostpine Environmental Services Ltd. is a full-service environmental consulting company based in Calgary. We are currently seeking Soil Scientists for soil assessments and classification for a variety of projects in Alberta and Saskatchewan. The successful candidate(s) will be able to:

â?¢Describe and sample soils according to the Canadian Soils Classification System (to the Soil Series level);
â?¢Develop budgets, co-ordinate and execute projects efficiently and cost-effectively;
â?¢Interpret environmental data and prepare technical reports for clients, regulatory bodies and contractors and;
â?¢Liaise with contractors, regulatory bodies, and landowners.

The ideal candidate(s) will have an undergraduate degree in the Environmental Sciences, Soil Sciences or related field experience and be eligible for Professional Agrologist designation.

Long days and weekend work will be required at times. The ideal candidate will have the following certifications: H2S Alive, First Aid, Ground Disturbance 2, Quad Safety, WHMIS, and TDG.
