The Role

The position involves supporting the delivery of Fish and Fish Habitat study programs for a variety of projects. Work activities include conducting fish community surveys (stream and lake inventories), fish habitat assessments, fish fence monitoring, data analysis, and report writing.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a Masters in a relevant fish biology subject, will be a registered (or eligible to register as a) Professional Biologist (R.P.Bio), and be well versed in fish ecology. Also, the successful candidate will have electro-fishing certification and experience, strong consultancy writing skills, demonstrable ability to meet project deadlines, will know the appropriate regulations, have 5-9 years’ of relevant experience and be knowledgeable in fish biology field techniques.
