Nickpoint is seeking an experienced environmental planning consultant. The successful candidate will have 3-5 yearsâ?? experience in environmental planning and is up-to-speed on provincial and federal regulations as well as industry best practices.

You:

  • Have a university degree in Environmental Science or similar discipline.
  • Have or are in pursuit of professional designation such as P.Ag ., P.Biol. or comparable.
  • Will hit the ground running to produce reliable EFRs, EAs, ERs, Water Body Assessments, and IOGC audits.
  • Are comfortable in the field conducting pre-construction environmental assessments.
  • Possess advanced knowledge of regulations such as the Public Lands Act, Species at Risk Act, Fisheries Act, and the Water Act pertaining to project approvals.
  • Can demonstrate technical abilities such as Timber Assessments, Vegetation Identification, Soils Characterization, and Wildlife Identification.
  • Can formulate effective strategies for environmental conservation and protection.
  • Will act as a liaison between our clients and regulatory agencies.
  • Can meet tight deadlines while providing leadership and support to our team.
