WESTERN SKY IS SEEKING YOUR SUPPORT

Western Sky Land Trust (Western Sky) is a not-for-profit charitable land conservation organization interested in conserving open or natural areas principally within the Calgary Region. Our focus is primarily the conservation of watersheds associated with agricultural, natural, heritage, scenic and recreational values.

Western Sky is making a positive difference in the area of voluntary land conservation activities to ensure that these landscapes are conserved for future generations. We work in one of the most challenging landscapes in Canada and are currently focusing our efforts on exploring partnerships with landowners to create additional conservation opportunities along the world-renowned Bow River.

We are seeking volunteers for our board and committees on an on-going basis. If you are committed to conservation, would like to assist in advancing our mandate, and have a background in one or more of these areas: ranching, farming, accounting/finance, communications, website management, fund development, biology or administration we would be interested in hearing from you.

For more information about our volunteer opportunities please visit our website at http://www.westernskylandtrust.ca. To apply, please contact Tracy Tarves, Executive Director at 403-268-4721.
