EBA, A Tetra Tech Company, is looking for a Senior Wildlife Biologist to join EBA’s Environment Practice in our Edmonton or Calgary office. Our Environmental Assessment and Permitting group is dedicated to managing environmental issues in a proactive and professional manner. Our staff includes professionals with expertise in wetlands, wildlife biology, terrestrial ecology, impact assessment, botany, rare plants, soils, hydrology, contaminated site assessment, forestry, permitting, and GIS. We provide specialized expertise and solutions to environmental issues and problems for our clients. Our team members are involved in a variety of projects that include biophysical and environmental assessments, contaminated site assessment and remediation, monitoring of environmental impacts and inventory of soils and vegetation. EBA is seeking a Senior Wildlife Biologist to join our team in Edmonton or Calgary. We are currently seeking enthusiastic and highly motivated individuals with a passion for the natural and applied sciences to join our team and advance their career. You will manage a variety of projects, conducting biophysical assessments with a focus on wildlife and wildlife habitat, with particular emphasis on listed species. You will provide senior level project management, including budget control, staff supervision and training and client liaison. You will provide senior technical advice on wildlife related components, analyze data and review reports, assist with business development and proposals, and work with other multi-disciplinary teams. You will also be expected to provide training and mentoring to junior staff members. Additional responsibility includes functioning as a client liaison and gaining awareness of client objectives.
