Three times a year the ASPB publishes BIOS, to provide biologists a forum to exchange views on matters of mutual interest, promote education in the diverse field of biology, and offer a recognized voice for professional biologists in Alberta. In addition to enhancing communication among ASPB members, BIOS is distributed outside the ASPB to introduce Professional Biologists to the public of Alberta.
ASPB members, if you would like to stop receiving print copies of BIOS in the mail, please select this option when renewing your membership. Past editions of BIOS are available for download here. Please consider displaying your printed copies of BIOS in an area accessible by your colleagues and clients to promote the ASPB and our profession.
Articles in BIOS are submitted by members of the ASPB and the general public. If you would like to submit an article to be included in BIOS, please refer to the following submission dates and guidelines. Please submit articles to our editor, Linda Zimmerling, at lindazim@shaw.ca with BIOS Article and your name in the subject line of your e-mail.
