DWB is seeking applications for a full-time Biologist / Environmental Professional for our Cranbrook, BC office, to provide leadership and project management for a broad range of environmental projects in a variety of market sectors. The role will be a mix of office and field work and the applicant must be able to thrive in a demanding, fast-paced environment that provides rewarding work opportunities.

Designation as a Registered Professional Biologist or as a Professional Agrologist in good standing with the CAB/BCIA, or eligibility to become one within a year is required, and a minimum three years relevant work experience. Experience with the following is considered an asset:
• Understanding of environmental regulatory processes in BC
• Liaising with clients and regulators
• Supervision, training and mentoring of junior staff
• Preparation of proposals, cost estimates and study designs
• Technical report writing
• Environmental field assessments and surveys (fish/wildlife/wetland/vegetation/soils)
• Erosion and sediment control (ESC) plans
• Construction Environmental Management Plans (CEMP)
• Environmental monitoring on construction projects
