Environmental Technician, Seasonal (2 positions)
Purpose of the position
The position will be responsible for (but not limited to):
- Performing field work such as watershed quality sampling.
- Assists in organizing and participating in public environmental displays, workshops, field days
- Assisting in the planning and implementation of environmental programs
- Participating in safety protocols and administrative tasks as required.

To be successful in this position, you will:
- Post-secondary Diploma in Environmental, Conservation or Biological Sciences - completed or nearing completion
- Combination of equivalent education and experience may be considered.
- Hold a Pleasure Craft Operator License or willing to obtain one.upon season commencement
- Ability to drive a truck and trailer combo is an asset.
- Experience reading a municipal map and GPS is an asset
Position details:
- Hourly wage: $26.71 to $29.00
- Temporary full-time position – May to August, 2026
- Hours: Based on a 40-hour workweek. Working days and evenings/weekends as needed.
- Students must currently be enrolled and returning to full-time studies in September, 2026
