Scholarships and Awards

The Alberta Society of Professional Biologists is proud to offer a number of awards which recognize excellence in the profession, scientific publications, and volunteerism within the profession and the society. These awards are adjudicated by the Society's Awards Committee.

The Society works through Alberta's colleges and universities to offer scholarships and bursaries to outstanding students in the field of biology. These awards are managed and adjudicated by the relevant institutions.

In an effort to engage younger students in the subject of biology, the Society also participates at student science fairs at the elementary and secondary school level.
