Wildlife Co-op Student (Fort McMurray – Base Plant)
- Wildlife Co-op student will be based in Fort McMurray at Base Plant site on a 1 year term
- Assist with wildlife data entry, management, and QAQC as required to support Base Plant’s annual wildlife reporting
- Use Arc GIS tools to develop maps related to wildlife scopes
- Assist with developing wildlife presentations, communications, and regulatory reports
- Work closely with site Wildlife Advisors on wildlife monitoring and mitigation activities
- Opportunity to gain exposure across variety of on site wildlife programs
- Must be ok with handling/viewing deceased wildlife
- This position will be mainly office based with some opportunities for field work

Location & other key details:
- This is a/an 4, 8, 12, or 16-month term commitment beginning in January 2027. You will be asked to indicate your availability in your application
- Potential locations for these student roles include Calgary, St. John's, Fort Hills (fly in fly out) and Fort McMurray (Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo). You will be asked to indicate your location preferences in your application
