Lichen Identification Workshop

Presented by Janet Marsh. This two-day workshop consists of a practical and theoretical introduction to lichen identification. The workshop focuses on learning lichen morphology and terminology; students will be introduced to some of the common lichens of Alberta. Students should bring a 10 X hand lens and notebook to the course. This course is designed for people with an interest in gaining experience with lichen identification, or for those who want to refresh their taxonomy and terminology. Registration includes lunch and refreshments.
