Description

As part of Alberta's provincial stocking program, the Sam Livingston Fish Hatchery raises over 1.3 million fish annually.  Discover what it takes to raise millions of trout each year in one of North America’s largest indoor fish hatcheries. On a guided behind the scenes tour you will meet the resident rainbow trout at each stage of growth and make a splash as you feed thousands a tasty snack.

After, journey through Alberta’s natural resources in the Discovery Centre as you investigate hands on galleries. Explore the flora and fauna that make their home in each of Alberta’s ecosystems, and rekindle your own connection with nature.

Plus, get an up-close look at the fantastic fish in our province in twelve freshwater aquariums!
