Alberta Environment and Parks has released the 2019 edition of the Alberta Tier 1 Soil and Groundwater Remediation Guidelines and the Alberta Tier 2 Soil and Groundwater Remediation Guidelines.
Changes to the Tier 1 guidelines are documented in the attached files. Where necessary, the changes have also been incorporated into the Tier 2 guidelines. The Tier 2 guidelines have also been revised to remove redundancies with other AEP guidance documents, such as the Alberta Environmental Assessment Standard and the Alberta Exposure Control Guidelines.
