On Saturday, December 29, 2018 a proposed Order to amend Schedule 1 of the Species at Risk Act for 9 migratory bird species was published for a 45 day public comment period in the Canada Gazette, Part I.
Cassin's Auklet , Red-necked Phalarope, Black Swift, Louisiana Waterthrush, McCown's Longspur, Red Crossbill percna subspecies , Evening Grosbeak Pink-footed Shearwater Lark Bunting
During this period, you can share your comments on the proposal either by writing to [email protected] or calling 1 800 668-6767. The public comment period will end on Monday, February 11, 2019.
